The SDGs are the path towards a fairer and more sustainable world. At Euskalduna Bilbao we firmly believe that the only way to achieve real change is through the involvement of all parties-governments, businesses and society as whole.

   No poverty

  • - Alliance with Koopera aiming to strengthen the ties between culture, sustainability, and social commitment. Impact on the social and occupational integration of those in situations of social exclusion, or at risk of exclusion

 

   Zero hunger

  • - Catering: Zero Waste program, an organization specializing in the rescue and safe redistribution of surplus food

 

   Health and well-being

  • - Collaboration with the Conquistando el Espacio Azul “Conquering the Deep Blue” project, by the Bilbao Dragon Boat Lamiak Association. Proposal for inclusive sport, community health, and sustainability
  • - Collaboration with the veteran rowing club of Bilbao (“Tigreak”)

 

   Quality education

  • - Collaboration agreement with Musikene, the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country, to promote culture and the performing and musical arts, with special emphasis on local initiatives.
  • - Collaboration agreement with BOS for the sponsorship of the Conciertos Didácticos (“Educational Concerts”) series. Reaffirmation of the social role of culture through quality education, especially for children.
  • - Inclusion of the Basque Youth Orchestra (EGO) and the San Juan Bautista Choir of Leioa in the programming for the self-produced show MASTODOPHONIKA as a strategic commitment to promoting local culture within the context of quality education.
  • - Visit of the children from the children's workshops of the Bilbao Choral Society to one of the rehearsals of the musical “The Wizard of Oz”.
  • - Performance by the children from the children's workshops of the Bilbao Choral Society at the Euskalduna Bilbao Christmas lighting ceremony, together with the cast of the musical “The Wizard of Oz”.
  • - Collaboration with music schools in Bizkaia so that students can attend organ concerts.
  • - Ongoing training plan for the staff of Euskalduna Bilbao.
