On April 29th, Euskalduna Bilbao inaugurated a new event of international standing with the hosting of NATA26 – 26th Annual Symposium. This annual gathering of the NATA network (Network for the Advancement of Patient Blood Management, Haemostasis and Thrombosis) took place at our venue until May 2nd.
Throughout these days, Bilbao welcomed an international and multidisciplinary audience comprised of clinicians, scientists, and healthcare professionals involved in patient blood management, haemostasis, and thrombosis. The meeting brought together, among other profiles, haematologists, transfusion medicine specialists, anaesthesiologists, intensive care and emergency medicine professionals, surgeons, nursing staff, and biomedical specialists.
The NATA26 scientific program featured high-level international faculty and offered lectures, debates, and case-based sessions focused on some of the primary challenges and advancements in clinical practice and research within this field. The organizers presented this symposium as one of the most significant international gatherings of the year in the sphere of Patient Blood Management.
The hosting of NATA26 positioned Euskalduna Bilbao at the heart of a scientific event of global reach, where specialization, research, and clinical practice converged to address some of the most relevant challenges in contemporary healthcare.
