This past Wednesday, March 25, Euskalduna Bilbao hosted the VIII KOSKA SARIAK awards ceremony, sponsored by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia. This event has become a well-established fixture on the regional musical calendar, once again recognizing the contributions of artists, bands, and agents linked to the rock scene in Bizkaia.
The gala took place in our Urban Hall, in an atmosphere defined by live music and the gathering of industry professionals and the public. Organized by MUSIKA MASTER and VINILO FM, the KOSKA SARIAK celebrated for the eighth consecutive year the vitality of the Bizkaian rock scene, highlighting both the careers of its main figures and the potential of emerging proposals.
During the ceremony, hosted by Olatz Arrese and Pepa Ferreiro, guests enjoyed live performances by several local bands. The gala included awards across various categories, such as outreach, career trajectory, best venue, emerging band, best music video, best rock album, and best rock band, in an edition that once again showcased the sector's diversity and dynamism.
For us, hosting such encounters means further strengthening our ties with local creation and with initiatives that contribute to the visibility of musical talent in Bizkaia. The celebration of the KOSKA SARIAK once again turned Euskalduna Bilbao into a meeting point for music, culture, and the territory's rock community.
