The “Employee Journey & Experience” program, framed within the ‘Bizkaia with the talent’ provincial initiative, promotes an approach aimed at improving the experience within the territory’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This initiative, which has limited capacity, combines training and co-creation to strengthen organizations' capacity to attract and retain talent, addressing each stage of the worker's journey.
The proposal, which is hybrid and free of charge, spans four (4) weeks and is directed at professionals from People/HR departments, or those with responsibilities in the area of people within Bizkaia’s SMEs. Participants have the opportunity to work alongside other sector professionals, share learnings, and build viable proposals that they can implement in their own organizations.
The programming started with an initial online meeting and will continue with several in-person workshops (Employee Journey Map I and II) at the Euskalduna Palace, which will serve to identify challenges and design solutions. Furthermore, the initiative will include an online masterclass on trends in Employee Experience (EX), an in-person demo-morning to present proposals, a live podcast with employer branding specialists, and newsletters with training summaries.
The ultimate goal of the “Employee Journey & Experience” project is to equip Bizkaia's SMEs to detect the obstacles that impact their professionals' satisfaction and transform them into practical solutions. Through this guidance, the initiative seeks to improve the work experience, convert the challenges of each stage of the “Employee Journey Map” into concrete actions, and connect with sector experts for inspiration regarding best practices.
