LUBMAT is a joint initiative between TEKNIKER and the Jost Institute for Lubrication and Tribology. Both organizations recognized that, although numerous international congresses addressed the scientific aspects of lubrication and wear, none were specifically focused on industrial applications.
In later editions, Bureau Veritas and Atten[2] joined the LUBMAT initiative, helping to strengthen the conference’s appeal among industrial attendees.
LUBMAT aims to bridge this gap by targeting an industrial audience while maintaining a strong academic and scientific perspective. Our slogan, “The closest encounter between lubrication industry and technology,” reflects our commitment to strengthening the connection between real-world practices and cutting-edge research and development—driving innovation and enabling the creation of products and services with greater added value.
