DOK SUMMIT 2026

Congress or meeting information

DOK Summit 2026 is the leading biennial event focused on digital transformation, the data economy and tech talent, positioning the Basque Country as Southern Europe’s technology hub.

DOK Summit is the meeting point for industry, business, technology, the public sector and talent, bringing together key stakeholders to address the major competitiveness challenges and technology trends that will shape the next decade from a practical, strategic and applied perspective.

Rather than a conventional technology conference, it is a space where real-world challenges connect with real-world solutions, with technology serving as a driver of competitiveness, sustainability and economic development.

From digitalisation to intelligent competitiveness

Europe and its industrial sector are at a turning point. Organisations no longer compete on efficiency alone, but on their ability to create value through technology, data and people.

DOK Summit 2026 is designed to address this transition from two complementary perspectives: digital and sustainable, focusing on the key drivers and barriers shaping competitiveness:

• The data economy, artificial intelligence and quantum technology as engines of value creation, moving beyond the hype.
• A structural shortage of digital talent, with annual demand far exceeding the available supply.
• The need for technological sovereignty and autonomy, ensuring security, regulatory compliance and the ability to make independent decisions.
