The Provincial Councils of Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa, and Araba Bring InBlock to the Basque Country
InBlock is a new platform sponsored by the Spanish Factoring Association (AEF) that will enable the verification and validation of invoices using ‘blockchain’ technology to facilitate the financing of commercial credit for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
InBlock has been developed over the last two years by ten financial institutions, and with the collaboration of entities including the Basque Provincial Treasuries (Haciendas Forales Vascas).
Therefore, its presentation in the Basque Country will take place next Tuesday, the 4th, at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao.
The conference will begin at 9:30 AM with an intervention by Carlos Dalmau, President of the AEF.
Subsequently, Enrique Fernández Albarracín, partner at EY (the Project’s main Advisor and Provider), will provide a description of the platform’s operation.
The event will continue with two round tables featuring the participation of the Provincial Councils and threeof the financial institutions that have taken part in the project (Kutxabank, Laboral Kutxa, and BBVA).
It will conclude with remarks by Itxaso Berrojalbiz, Deputy of Treasury and Finance for Bizkaia.
